About Me

I am an active and engaged therapist. I strive to provide a supportive, warm and accepting environment in which to explore vulnerable and sometimes confusing, painful feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Together we can make sense of how it is that you are the way you are. And believe me, it will make sense. By making sense together, acceptance and self compassion can grow. I describe my work as experiential and practical. There are skills and practices that make being alive easier and more fulfilling.

I know from personal experience the pain of anxiety, depression, feeling subject to relentless inner critics and disasterous relationships! I truly trust in the process of therapy to decrease suffering as it has for me personally as well as for my clients.
